By way of background, RTKC had been installing stick-build wheelchair ramps for area homeowners for many years. Switching to lifetime loaned aluminum ramps was a smart decision for the nonprofit. Aluminum ramps offer a high-quality material with a modular design that allows for flexibility and customization, yet they are durable and require little maintenance. Moreover, when the homeowner no longer needs the ramp, RTKC can retrieve the parts, clean them thoroughly, and reuse them for another neighbor with mobility challenges, truly making this a gift that keeps on giving! Rock Hall was one of his most common stops on the Bay. Finally discovering it by land about 15 years later and deciding it was the place to be and moved into the Rock Hall Dental Practice. He is also an avid Woodworker and will be more than happy to show you some of his pieces. Len began volunteering with Rebuilding Together in 2012 upon recognizing the need in Kent County. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. In 2008 he relocated to Chestertown from Buffalo, NY and started his own handyman business, Hanleyman Services, which he retired in 2019. Jon has served on several boards, including the Chestertown Environmental Committee on which he has served for 10 years. Over her adult life, she has done many home renovations with her husband. Her first house was built in 1900 and the renovation included removing tons of horsehair plaster and lath, then replacing old the electrical wires, the plumbing, floors, walls, and lots of painting. Since that time, she has had several other smaller renovation projects in various homes along the way. He currently resides near Centreville with his wife, Chelsea, and daughter. He is a licensed CPA and a partner at a local accounting firm, Anthony, Judge and Ware. He joined the Board of Rebuilding Together Eastern Shore in 2026 and looks to use his financial background to help the organization continue growing its critical mission in the community. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. She has worked in the architectural field since 1990 with firms such as Centerbrook Architects of Centerbrook, Connecticut, on a broad array of projects from museums to residences. Since 2014 her focus has been on universal design, adaptive reuse and ADA compliance in buildings, parks and townscapes. She is the Administrator for the Delaware Architectural Accessibility Board as well as a national ADA consultant. Rankin is a retired litigation attorney and teacher, and she proudly serves on several community organizations. She completed an apprenticeship in traditional carpentry, joinery and masonry at the National Park Service Historic Preservation Training Center. For 30 years, she worked on preservation projects across the country with the National Park Service. Lisa continues to teach workshops on the principles and practices of field-based historic preservation. She is a founding member and former President of the Preservation Trades Network, as well as a past board member and President of the Timber Framers Guild. After moving away for five years, Andrew and his wife Sarah were afforded the opportunity to return to Chestertown in 2020. Andrew has always liked to build and repair things, a skill that he learned from his father growing up. Andrew and Sarah have restored two homes together, a 1930's bungalow in Alabama as well as their 1870's Victorian home in Chestertown. Working on these projects, Andrew learned many of the skills and experienced the "joys" of home renovations including plumbing, electrical, framing, carpentry, and tiling.
