Larry Dinoff | Co-President

Larry earned degrees in both architecture and mechanical engineering and has spent more than 30 years as a nationally recognized expert in safety and construction standards. He began volunteering at Rebuilding Together projects out of his conviction that having a safe and comfortable place to live is a basic human right. He is pleased to have been offered a chance to also contribute as one of its board members. When he isn't building furniture, Larry kayaks, fishes and bicycles. He and his wife Sandy are avid birders, gardeners and aspiring chefs.


Larisa Thomas | Co-President

Larisa Thomas began working with Rebuilding Together in 2005, back when it was still Christmas in April. Starting out as a volunteer on project days, she became the organizer for her group, and then in 2016 Larisa took on further leadership responsibilities and by joining the board of Directors. She has served as Secretary, Treasurer, and currently is the Co-President.

A dedicated community volunteer, Mrs. Thomas heads the Centreville Methodist Church Food Pantry, is on the local YMCA’s Leadership Council, as well as the Make A Difference Day Committee, and has participated with Appalachia Service Project mission trips.


Pat Perry | Vice President

More than 35 years in the financial industry holding positions as a commercial loan officer, CFO for an international dessert company, and currently financial advisor, Patrick has volunteered with Rebuilding Together since its inception as Christmas in April, Washington, DC. Largely focused on the areas of governance and finance with the intention to provide safe and healthy homes for those who may not have the resources to do so.

Max Ruehrmund | Treasurer

Max is an award-winning, licensed architect with 35 years of commercial and residential design experience with significant knowledge of building systems, construction and administration. Currently, he is designing and overseeing the construction of waterfront and non-waterfront residential homes as well as small commercial projects in Kent, Queen Anne and Cecil counties in Maryland. Max dedicates his efforts to helping people realize their vision for their homes or businesses, knowing that those spaces can bring success and joy to his clients and those around them.


Diane McComb | Secretary

Mrs. McComb was the CEO of a statewide association of community organizations supporting people with disabilities and their families for sixteen years. She was the principal legislative advocate on behalf of Maryland’s programs and was a leader in the very strong collaborative growth of disability programs experienced in the state. The first decade of her career was devoted to building a community agency supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Her career gives her the unique perspective of a private community agency, the CEO of a statewide provider advocacy organization, and as a cabinet level governmental official. She brings her extensive knowledge, her demonstrated track record of innovative problem solving, and lifelong commitment to empowering individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals in communities where they live.


Yvette Hynson

Yvette for the past 4 years works as a Certified SOAR Case Specialist at Midshore Behavioral Health where she assists individuals with their disability applications and helps in obtaining other resources. She is also a Certified Aging in Place Specialist. Yvette has over 20 years experience working with nonprofits throughout Maryland and the Eastern Shore. She currently serves on several boards including Chesterwye and Sumner Hall. Yvette has a Master’s of Science degree in Non-profit Management from UMUC. Yvette is very interested in helping those who are less fortunate to stay in their homes


Jennifer Lieber

Jennifer has lived in Chestertown since 2001 with her husband, Chip, and their three boys. She has worked in the architectural field since 1990 with firms such as Centerbrook Architects of Centerbrook, Connecticut, on a broad array of projects from museums to residences. Since 2014 her focus has been on universal design, adaptive reuse and ADA compliance in buildings, parks and townscapes. She is the Administrator for the Delaware Architectural Accessibility Board as well as a national ADA consultant. Jennifer also volunteers with the Sultana Education Foundation on their construction projects as an ADA reviewer and is the Task Force Chair for the Lawrence Wetlands Preserve and Nature Center.

Vic Pfeiffer | Past President

Vic is a retired Senior Human Resources consultant for a national firm assisting corporate clients out of their Washington, D.C. office with their total rewards strategies. Since moving to Chestertown in 2008, Vic has served on several local boards including the Garfield Center for the Arts and ShoreRiver’s Chester Advisory Board, and also helped job coach individuals with intellectual disabilities. "My passion is to try to help those in our community who for various reasons, need assistance. Rebuilding Together meets that goal because we help worthy people who through no fault of their own, need assistance staying safe, warm and dry in their homes.”


Petra Quinn

Petra Quinn is a dedicated community member and experienced REALTOR® with over 19 years in the real estate industry. Born and raised in Germany, Petra relocated to Maryland with her husband and children, settling on the Eastern Shore in Stevensville. She is actively involved in her community. As a Director for Rebuilding Together Eastern Shore, she combines her professional expertise with her passion for community service, working to provide essential home repairs for those in need. Petra is committed to creating safe, vibrant communities and making a positive impact through her work.


Vincent Radosta

Vince is a retired Supervisory Special Agent/Deputy Director with the U.S. Customs Service, Office of Investigations, where he has served assignments in Chicago, London, San Francisco, Washington DC, New York and Baltimore before settling down on Kent Island with his wife of over 50 years.

He has devoted the 25 plus years of his retirement to working with various local volunteer organizations, including serving on the Boards of Special Olympics Upper Shore, CASA of QA and Kent County, Talbot Special Riders, and the QAC Local Management Board. He is the Chairperson for the QAC Backpack Meals for Kids Program and the QAC Out of School Time Program. His purpose is to give back to the community and improve the lives and living conditions of people who need assistance and are often overlooked and unable to help themselves.


Clara Rankin

Clara A. Rankin is a retired litigation attorney and teacher, and she proudly serves on several community organizations. Though she has visited every state, and lived in some, returning to Maryland routinely has always felt like coming home. She believes that we help ourselves by helping others, that our purpose in life is connection, and that we display our faith through compassion. She is an outdoor enthusiast and has never met a dog that she didn’t love.


Lisa Sasser

Lisa Sasser is an architect with over forty years of experience in historic preservation. She completed an apprenticeship in traditional carpentry, joinery and masonry at the National Park Service Historic Preservation Training Center. For 30 years, she worked on preservation projects across the country with the National Park Service. Lisa continues to teach workshops on the principles and practices of field-based historic preservation. She is a founding member and former President of the Preservation Trades Network, as well as a past board member and President of the Timber Framers Guild. Currently, she serves as a board member for Preservation Maryland and as an area representative to the board of the Maryland Historical Trust.


Andrew Wright

Andrew grew up in Talbot County, Maryland and first moved to Kent County in 2008. After moving away for five years, Andrew and his wife Sarah were afforded the opportunity to return to Chestertown in 2020. Andrew has always liked to build and repair things, a skill that he learned from his father growing up. Andrew and Sarah have restored two homes together, a 1930's bungalow in Alabama as well as their 1870's Victorian home in Chestertown. Working on these projects, Andrew learned many of the skills and experienced the "joys" of home renovations including plumbing, electrical, framing, carpentry, and tiling. Andrew believes that having a safe place to live is critical for everyone and enjoys applying the skills he has to help others.
